Tarapuruhi Bushy Park is cared for by the Bushy Park Trust, volunteers, Ngā Rauru Kītahi, Forest & Bird, Horizons Regional Council, and the Department of Conservation.

✅ Maximum speed of 15km/h on the driveway

Accessibility
Wheelchair access is available to the Homestead, Visitor Centre, and along the Twin Ponga Track to the first hihi feeder.
We’re continuing to improve accessibility throughout the sanctuary, with additional accessible areas currently under development.
The Forest Sanctuary is a Forest and Bird Project
Walk among giant trees and experience rare native wildlife in a stunning ancient forest.
The forest is open with koha entry during daylight hours.
