Walking tracks
Over three hours of tracks to suit a range of walking abilities, including meandering forest trails, wetland boardwalks, and rest areas. Watch the hihi at the bird feeders. Find Rātānui, one of Aotearoa’s New Zealand’s largest northern rātā trees.

how to get here
Bushy Park Tarapuruhi is an easy half-hour drive on State Highway 3
north from the Whanganui i-site to the south, or two hours south from New Plymouth.
Turn off onto Rangitātau East Road at Kai Iwi village. Follow the road for about 10 minutes.
